I have been a therapist and exercise physiologist for over twenty years and have worked on many athletes and teams such as the Alberta Ballet, Shaping Sound, Denver Broncos, Calgary Flames, Calgary Stampeders and more. Something you might now know about me is that I used to be a stand up comic.
Stretch Therapist (FMT)
My passion for overall health and wellness led me on a career path to becoming a specialist in my field. After completing my Personal Fitness Training, I began a career as a Personal Trainer; applying my education, learning from my colleagues and clients, gaining experience and challenging myself to learn something new every day.
I specialize in therapeutic and relaxation massage. I love doing massage because I have a passion for taking care of the people around me, always mindful of what other people need. Massage is a medium where I am able to share my talents to help others and relieve people’s discomfort or pain. My best friend would describe me as brutally honest but caring!
I am trained in Thai, therapeutic, deep tissue, sport, pre- and post-natal, Swedish, and hot stone massage. My best friend would say I’m a coffee lover woman who always motivates her friends to look for the best of themselves, who brings unconditional support, caring, listening and happiness to her loved ones. Honest, responsible and reliable.
I specialize in medium to firm pressure therapeutic massage, cupping, and hot stone. I love massage because I like to help people feel better. My best friend would say I’m honest, hardworking, resilient, dedicated and someone that you can rely on. I love to go to the beach, as well as dance to Latino music (salsa, cumbia, mambo, etc).
I specialize in sports massage as well as headache and migraine relief. What I love about massage therapy is the ability to make a difference in someone’s life by bringing my clients back to a healthy and more strong state within their body. Something some people might not know about me is that I am also very passionate about cooking!
I am drawn to a more therapeutic approach to massage therapy as I enjoy the challenge of problem-solving and creating unique treatment plans. Outside of massage therapy, my biggest passion is triathlon. I have been racing since 2013 and recently completed my first 70.3 Ironman. Moving forward, I am working my way down the long road to qualifying for the Kona world championships.
The modalities used during our sessions gravitate around Deep tissue massage, Sport massage, Relaxation massage (post-event), Myofascial treatments, Postural rehabilitation, Soft fiber rehabilitation (cyriax), Cupping, Energy work, Reflexology and more depending on the therapeutic care needed. I enjoy philosophy, hiking, functional training and wellness in general.
I love to do cupping, hot stone, Swedish, therapeutic, sports, and stretches. I love being a massage therapist because I feel like I have touched people’s lives when they feel better after the session. My friends tell me that I’m a jolly person, friendly and easy to get along with. You will find me in the gym when I’m not working. I also like to eat while watching movies!
I do deep tissue, Swedish, therapeutic, sports and prenatal massage. I love my job especially when I see the impact massage has for my clients, they feel good and much better after each session! For me, it’s a self-fulfilling career. My friends tell me that I am a hard working person and have a sense of humour. If I’m not working I’m home doing household chores because I’m kind of a homebody!
I am able to perform relaxation, deep tissue, and prenatal massages; however, my passion is utilizing hot stone and cupping in my treatments. My primary goal for every session is to heal my clients both physically and mentally. My best friend would describe me as a caring individual, who cares with her whole heart and puts her kind soul into her every endeavour.
I specialize in therapeutic, sports massage, deep tissue, myofascial release. I love doing massage because I like helping people manage their pain, stress, improve circulation, improve the functioning of the muscles and organs, as well as stimulate the nervous system. My hidden talent is hairstyling. I know how to do hair colouring and hair cutting!
I was born in Colombia and moved to Canada 12 years ago. I combine Swedish, therapeutic, and myofascial techniques with stretching and strengthening exercises to restore overall well-being. I have experience working with TMJ dysfunction, Fibromyalgia, Arthritis, Whiplash, Tension Headaches, Postural Dysfunctions, Sports Injuries, and other chronic injuries. ENERGY WORK SPECIALISTS
I am a Registered Acupuncturist, having apprenticed for 2 years under a Japanese acupuncturist named Yas Inaba. I have completed a Medical Acupuncturist program at the Alberta College of Acupuncture. With a bucket full of faerie dust, I’d free the world from being attached to the outcome of what they think and feel and just be with what is actually happening.
Advanced EFT Practitioner
EFT is a form of acupuncture without the needles. It combines Chinese acupuncture points, cognitive thinking, and neuroscience.
I combine other modalities to enhance energetic/emotional shifts. Those are EFT, Matrix-Reimprinting, BodyTalk Access and the Yuen Method. When carefully applied it can expedite healing more rapidly than conventional therapies, which can take months or years.
Certified BodyTalk Practitioner.
I began my journey in energy healing with Reiki, meditation, and yoga. I discovered the BodyTalk system and started practicing in 2002. I have completed advanced modules, along with the Parama Unit 1 and 2 Practical, obtaining the highest level of BodyTalk education. I love BodyTalk because it can be used to address specific disorders, to complement other treatment modalities and to keep the body in good health through preventative maintenance. I can also perform BodyTalk sessions in both English and Polish!
I have been in the beauty industry for four years starting with eyelash extensions and microblading. Eager to learn more and pursue my passion, I went to Eternal Beauty Institution in Calgary to learn Laser Hair Removal and Skin Rejuvenation. I love equestrian show jumping with my animals, hiking in the backyard Rockies, music, and most of all going on road trips!
As a past educator for Eminence Organic Skincare, I have an in-depth knowledge of the products and love seeing the amazing results achieved using the skincare products! Most don’t know I have a passion for Fine Arts. I really enjoy the Ballet, Opera, Museums and attending performances by the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra!
I specialize in skincare (facials), threading and waxing. I enjoy every minute of my career as an Esthetician and love taking on new challenges. I like treating all aspects from acne to rosacea, and brown spots to wrinkles. I don’t let the child within me die. I still love watching Disney movies and cartoons once in a while to get away from the real world.
I am a specialist in facials, regular and advanced, and acne treatments. My favourite product lines are Eminence and Comfort Zone! I am very good at shaping brows. Actually, brows and skin are the first things I notice on people (even on tv!). My hobbies are Netflix, movies, anything new in the beauty industry. Oh, and I love, love, love animals!
